The European Union will be represented by European Commission
President Romano Prodi and EU Chairman Georgios Papandreou, the
Council of Europe by its Secretary-General Walter Schwimmer, and
the United Nations by its special rapporteur on human rights, Jose
Cutilleiro.
The funeral will be also attended by German Foreign Minister
Joschka Fischer, Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel, a three-
member United States delegation, headed by a former state
secretary, Lawrence Eagleburger, the head of Great Britain's
Queen's Council, Robin Cook, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister
Vladimir Cizov, Italian Parliament President Piere-Ferdino
Casini, and the foreign ministers of the Netherlands, Norway and
Switzerland. Other western European countries will be represented
by other government officials.
Regional leaders to attend the funeral include Croatian Premier
Ivica Racan, Slovene Premier Anton Rop, Macedonian Premier Branko
Crvenkovski, the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Mirko Sarovic, and Republika Srpska President Dragan Cavic,
Albanian Premier Fatos Nano, Bulgarian Parliament President Ognyen
Gerdzikov and the premiers of Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.
The Serbian premier will be buried at the Alley of Great Men at
Belgrade's New Cemetery at 2 pm.
