Orlic, a senior official of the Social Democratic Party, said the
DOS coalition would support any candidate nominated by the
Democratic Party of the assassinated Premier Zoran Djindjic.
At the beginning of the week the parliament will appoint the
government of Serbia and Montenegro, after which it will appoint
the new Serbian premier, Orlic said.
The parliament head and acting president of Serbia, Natasa Micic,
has called this year's first session of the Serbian parliament for
Tuesday.
Some Belgrade media estimate that a Democratic Party vice-
president, Zoran Zivkovic, could become the new Serbian premier.
