SISAK, March 7 (Hina) - On behalf of the Russian company Mechel, the director of the Mechel Ironworks Sisak company, Nassibulla Mukhatdinov, on Friday asked of the bankruptcy co-ordinator in Sisak Ironworks, Blanka Oresic-Anducic,
"that the contract on business cooperation and preparations for the start of production, signed on February 24, be temporarily annulled".
SISAK, March 7 (Hina) - On behalf of the Russian company Mechel, the
director of the Mechel Ironworks Sisak company, Nassibulla
Mukhatdinov, on Friday asked of the bankruptcy co-ordinator in
Sisak Ironworks, Blanka Oresic-Anducic, "that the contract on
business cooperation and preparations for the start of production,
signed on February 24, be temporarily annulled". #L#
Mukhatdinov explained the request with the fact that "the Croatian
government at yesterday's session did not reach a decision on the
contract on the sale of Sisak Ironworks in bankruptcy to Mechel
Ironworks going into force".
He informed the co-ordinator that Mechel was forced to stop all
preparations for the start of production in the ironworks as of
tomorrow. The preparations will continue as soon as the government
passes the necessary decisions, Mukhatdinov said.
"Mechel Ironworks is prepared to immediately pay all the expenses
for preparing production, including today," said Mukhatdinov in a
statement.
