until its next session. #L#
"We are shocked at and embittered by the government's decision
because Mechel has fulfilled all obligations as agreed on at a
meeting of the co-ordinating body and Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic
in Sisak on March 4," a representative of the co-ordinating body and
the Croatian Metal Workers' Union commissioner in Sisak, Mato
Somic, said this afternoon.
The ironworks' unions will hold a meeting on Friday and decide about
further action or a possible protest due to the delay in
implementing the contract with the Russian company and re-starting
production.
