Commenting on yesterday's claims by Libra's bench that Tadic's
statement made at a session of the economy committee was a
scandalous outburst of hatred and threats, Djapic said Tadic's
speech had a metaphoric character. He said the government tried to
publicly slander him instead of reacting to its political and
economic fiasco in the nuclear power plant case.
Addressing parliament's economy committee on Tuesday, Tadic said
that everything the government, and especially Deputy Prime
Minister Goran Granic and Assistant Economy Minister Roman Nota,
had done concerning the Slovene co-owned Krsko nuclear power plant
"may be described as collaboration".
"If we were in power we would put you on trial. It's sheer luck we're
not at war because you know how collaborationists would fare,"
Tadic said at the session.
