SKOPLJE, Feb 27 (Hina) - The Foreign Minister of Serbia and Montenegro, Goran Svilanovic, held talks in Skoplje on Thursday with his Macedonian counterpart, Ilinka Mitreva, about the two countries' struggle against organised
crime.

Svilanovic said the countries in the region were not under threat by
neighbours, but by organised crime. Profits from trafficking in
people, drugs and weapons and prostitution are much higher than
presumed, he said and added that a large part of the profits was used
for political goals and terrorist attacks.
Mitreva said the two countries' interior ministries would meet in
Belgrade next week to discuss the fight against organised crime.
