witnesses to the stand. #L#
Oreskovic started his defence after a postponement of more than a
month due to his headaches and subsequent surgery of the sinuses.
He said the trial was also in service of a showdown between various
political groups and parties, even various currents within the same
parties.
The indictee claimed that the panel of judges had disallowed him to
call his witnesses and concluded that "the court does not want to
establish the entire truth".
