The Dutch government has recently declined to officially inform the
European Commission of the ratification of the SAA by both
parliaments, waiting for the outcome of the Bobetko case.
In the meantime, the Hague-based tribunal has decided to suspend
its request for Bobetko's extradition after its doctors' team
confirmed that Bobetko was unable to travel due to his condition.
Picula said that Dutch officials confirmed their country's support
to Croatia's policy, which, they say, contributed to the stability
of political circumstances in Southeast Europe.
