Altenburg is at the helm of a NATO delegation that is on a visit to
Croatia from 3 to 6 February in order to be acquainted with concrete
steps Zagreb is taking to prepare the country for membership of the
alliance.
The NATO official said Croatia was on a good path towards reaching
standards necessary for its admission into NATO, and added that the
organisation appreciated Croatia's bids aimed at the stabilisation
of the region.
Minister Picula said Croatia's foreign policy was focused on Euro-
Atlantic integration processes and that the government would
persist in reforms.
He reiterated Croatia's willingness to take active part in the
anti-terrorist coalition.
