Picula spoke to journalists after talks with the president of
Portugal's parliament, Joao Bosco Mota Amaralo, held on the second
day of his official visit there.
Picula is in Portugal as part of a diplomatic initiative aimed at
seeking support to Croatia's application for admission to the EU,
which should be submitted in Athens on the 18th.
Foreign Minister Antonio Martin Da Cruz, with whom Picula held
talks yesterday, announced Lisbon would ratify Crooatia's
Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the Union in the next
two months.
