ZAGREB, Feb 11 (Hina) - The government-sponsored changes to the Labour Act will not reduce unemployment but result in situations where workers will only replace one another on the same job to the detriment of older and less employable
workers, representatives of Croatia's union federations said at a meeting with the leaders of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) in parliament on Monday.

Labour Act will not reduce unemployment but result in situations
where workers will only replace one another on the same job to the
detriment of older and less employable workers, representatives of
Croatia's union federations said at a meeting with the leaders of
the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) in parliament on Monday. #L#
The meeting is the first in a series with representatives of
parliamentary parties at which union officials intend to lobby
against the changes to the Labour Act.
