PEN president Sibila Petlevska endorsed a proposal that Austria's
PEN be informed about the cancellation of the supplement.
Branimir Donat believes the decision of the paper's management was
particularly alarming as there was a possibility that Styria could
buy the Split-based daily "Slobodna Dalmacija" as well.
The assembly unanimously endorsed academician Tonko Maroevic's
proposal that the public be urgently informed about the state of
Dubrovnik's cultural heritage, especially the city's port and one
of its symbols, Orlando's Column.
