In a draft report on the western Balkans, which the EU foreign
ministers should adopt at their meeting in Brussels on Monday and
Tuesday, Croatia alone is not mentioned.
Only Yugoslavia is mentioned in the draft conclusion as a country
whose cooperation with the Hague tribunal was insufficient.
The Council of the European Union reminds that the respect of the
international law is a significant element of the Stabilisation and
Association process and that a lack of full cooperation with the
ICTY will seriously jeopardise further drawing closer of the
countries in the region to the EU.
