"That information is incorrect," said Svilanovic, assessing the
United States had no reason to need a base on Yugoslav territory.
RFI recently said the U.S. was interested in the base of its Kosovo
Force contingent Bondsteel in Kosovo, the Yugoslav army's radar
base on Kopaonik, the military airport near Sjenica and facilities
on Pesetar Plain.
