The meeting resulted in an agreement to give the international community a "constructive response" after recent sanctions imposed by High Representative Paddy Ashdown and the resignation of Republika Srpska Prime Minister Dragan Mikerevic.
"The resignation of the Government of Republika Srpska is final, but the Government will continue working until the Parliament of Republika Srpska adopts a decision to that effect. The prime minister designate of the future government was not nominated today. We want the international community and citizens not to view the meeting as a Serb anti-Dayton conspiracy. We are fully agreed that we should seek together a constructive way out of the current crisis that will be overcome. We have reached agreement with regard to all crucial issues and agreed that the crisis must not reflect on cooperation with the Hague tribunal. The Interior Ministry of Republika Srpska must act accordingly regardless of what is going on," Cavic said.
Republika Srpska wants to take part in reform processes but primarily on the basis of compromises and not on the basis of imposed solutions, Cavic said.
