Some 30 inhabitants, who are mostly farmers, complained that although nine years had passed since the Storm liberating operation when the local power supplies network was destroyed, it was not still reconstructed.
A local councillor, Jovo Dabic, said that it was not true what was stated in an OSCE report, that nobody had requested the reconstruction of the power supplies network. Dabic added that a request in writing had been sent to the municipal authorities in the nearby town of Donji Kukuruzari but no response had yet been received.
Semneby said that the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) had obtained information from the Croatian Power Supplies Company (HEP) that no reconstruction had been requested.
Asked by reporters who was to blame for this situation, Semneby said that it was obviously somebody's fault as the village had been without electricity for nine years.
Pusic added that HNS councillors in the local municipality as well as HNS deputies to the parliament would move the issue of the power supplies networks' reconstruction not only in Lovca but also in other villages in the area of Banovina.
