Commenting on the powers of the president of the state, Adlesic said that those powers were not insignificant and that they should not be expanded, but rather used in the right way.
"If the incumbent president had used the same amount of energy to fight corruption as he did to settle scandals in the intelligence community, it would have been the best message to foreign investors to invest in Croatia. Corruption should be fought not only with legislation which is subject to change, but also with strong political will," Adlesic said.
The current figure of 400,000 unemployed persons can be reduced only with strong economic development, and not with occasional budgetary allocations to some social groups, Adlesic said.
She warned that the state authorities should treat equally all towns and counties and carry out decentralisation.
Adlesic said that a second election round was very likely.
