Letica believes that the start of the presidential campaign has been overshadowed by the scandal surrounding the Counter-Intelligence Agency (POA) with which he said Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and President Stjepan Mesic were bothering citizens.
Asked by reporters about his chances of winning the elections, Letica said that other candidates -- the incumbent President Mesic and Jadranka Kosor ( the candidate of the ruling HDZ party) -- would stand greater chances if the current trend of generating fictitious scandals continued.
Letica said he would have more chances if attention was drawn to matters of interest for citizens.
