Adlesic submits her presidential candidacy

ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - Submitting her candidacy to the State ElectionCommission, the presidential candidate of the Croatian Social LiberalParty (HSLS), Djurdja Adlesic, said on Monday that caring for theunemployed would be the main part of her campaign.
ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - Submitting her candidacy to the State Election Commission, the presidential candidate of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), Djurdja Adlesic, said on Monday that caring for the unemployed would be the main part of her campaign.

I will not comment on any presidential candidate, I am only interested in the situation in the country because entire generations are lost and left jobless, Adlesic told reporters.

She believes the president can help solve such situations.

The president can help create a better economic climate, Adlesic said and added that the president should not use his or her influence only to deal with military and espionage issues.

Her candidacy was supported by some 22,500 voters.
