ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - Presidential candidate Slaven Letica on Monday criticised the head of the head of the International Monetary Fund delegation to Croatia, Dimitri Demekas, stressing that the IMF official was preparing an attack on the rights of patients in Croatia.

Commenting on Demekas' recent statements that public health in Croatia was sick, Letica said the IMF official was impudent and established the same medical diagnosis for him.

"The claim by Demekas, who is coming from the country with the worst health system in Europe (Greece), is the operationalisation of the stand-by arrangement with the IMF in the part referring to endangering the rights of patients," Letica said.
