ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - The leader of the Croatian Party of Pensioners(HSU) has said that the party leadership and Prime Minister IvoSanader agreed to discuss a formula for the adjustment of pensions inMarch next year after figures on the rise of salaries in the secondhalf of 2004 are made public.
ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - The leader of the Croatian Party of Pensioners (HSU) has said that the party leadership and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader agreed to discuss a formula for the adjustment of pensions in March next year after figures on the rise of salaries in the second half of 2004 are made public.

Vladimir Jordan told Hina on Thursday after meeting Sanader that the HSU did not accept the reintroduction of the previous model when pensions were adjusted to a half of the sum of increases in salaries and living costs twice a year.

We are ready to consider other possibilities which will ensure a rise in pensions, Jordan added.
