ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - The Chairman of the Croatian Parliament's HomeAffairs and National Security Committee, Ivan Jarnjak, said on Mondayhe had not received the Opposition's request for an urgent session ofthe Committee following
speculation that the President of the Republicand the Prime Minister had received two different reports on the workof the Counterintelligence Agency (POA).
ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - The Chairman of the Croatian Parliament's Home
Affairs and National Security Committee, Ivan Jarnjak, said on Monday he had
not received the Opposition's request for an urgent session of the Committee
following speculation that the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister
had received two different reports on the work of the Counterintelligence
Agency (POA)."I have not yet received any request from any member of the Committee,"
Jarnjak told reporters after meeting the Chairman of the Bosnian National
Security Commission, Bosko Siljegovic, in the Croatian Parliament on Monday.
The Croatian People's Party (HNS) member of the Committee, Srecko
Ferencak, announced two days ago that the Opposition would request on Monday
that Jarnjak convene an urgent session of the Committee to determine whether or
not the POA had prepared two different reports, one for President Stjepan
Mesic and the other for Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
