The Parliament amended the Freshwater Fisheries Act, adjusting fishing permits issued to foreign tourists to those issued to domestic anglers.
Deputies took note of reports by the Croatian Radio and Television Directorate and the Programmes Council. Although most clubs of deputies supported the reports during the debate, the ruling majority led by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party raised a number of objections, mainly to the professionalism of reporters and news programmes on the national television network, and decided that the reports should only be taken note of.
The session continues next Tuesday when amendments to the new bill regulating war veterans' rights will be put to the vote.
