ZAGREB, Dec 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and PrimeMinister Ivo Sanader met late on Friday evening and agreed to holdanother meeting in the next few days, it was stated after the meetingwhich was held behind closed doors.
ZAGREB, Dec 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader met late on Friday evening and agreed to hold another meeting in the next few days, it was stated after the meeting which was held behind closed doors.

The two officials discussed the current political situation, preparations for a session of the National Security Council, and recent events regarding the Counterintelligence Agency (POA), government spokesman Ratko Macek told Hina over the phone.

Macek would not reveal any other details regarding the meeting, its location or atmosphere.

Last week, President Mesic signed a proposal to replace POA chief Josko Podbevsek which Prime Minister Sanader refused to countersign.
