LOVRAN, Dec 3 (Hina) - A two-day seminar of state prosecutors ended
in the northern Adriatic resort of Lovran on Friday with the adoption of
conclusions, including the one stating that promptness in the solving of cases
in the State Prosecutor's Office is an encouragement for achieving even better
results.Chief State Prosecutor Mladen Bajic said it was necessary to deepen
cooperation between the criminal and civil-administrative departments of the
State Prosecutor's Office, particularly in municipal and county state
prosecutor's offices. The participants also concluded that the State
Prosecutor's Office should advocate a wider implementation of alternative ways
of the solving of cases
The conclusions also say that it is necessary to establish a quality
system of monitoring and controlling cases within the justice system and attach
more importance to the education of judicial officials.
