The talks in the two cities are expected to focus on a meeting of the European Council scheduled for December 16 and 17, when Croatia expects a date for the start of talks on full membership in the European Union.
Zuzul's visits to London and Brussels are a continuation of his intensified diplomatic activity. Earlier on Wednesday, he held a working meeting in Zagreb with EU ambassadors accredited in Croatia to exchange views on relations between Croatia and the EU ahead of the European Council summit.
Croatia hopes to receive an exact date for the start of entry talks in the first half of 2005 in accordance with an announcement made by the EU in June, but a decision on this may be affected by a recent report by Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte, who told the UN Security Council that Croatia was not fully cooperating with the tribunal because it failed to arrest fugitive general Ante Gotovina.
