IMPLEMENTATION OF EU-CROATIA PROTOCOL VII BEGINS FORMALLY

ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - Protocol VII, which regulates technicaladjustment of the regime of trade in agricultural products betweenCroatia and the European Union, is to be published in the EU OfficialJournal (No. L-350) bearing today's date, when it will formally enterinto force, the Croatian Agriculture and Forestry Ministry reported onThursday.
ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - Protocol VII, which regulates technical adjustment of the regime of trade in agricultural products between Croatia and the European Union, is to be published in the EU Official Journal (No. L-350) bearing today's date, when it will formally enter into force, the Croatian Agriculture and Forestry Ministry reported on Thursday.

A source from the ministry told Hina that the Croatian negotiating team had reached favourable agreement regarding the export of EU products to Croatia and succeeded in obtaining unlimited duty-free export of Croatian products to the ten new EU member-states except for baby beef, wine, fish and fish products.

Protocol VII was initialled by Croatia and the EU on 16 April this year.
