The proposal for the new composition of the Conflict of Interest Commission will be forwarded to the Committee on Elections and Appointments and then to parliament, Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks told reporters.
The Commission is expected to include MPs Marija Bajt of the Croatian Democratic Union, Josip Leko of the Social Democratic Party, Pejo Trgovcevic of the Croatian Party of Rights and Nikola Mak, a representative of national minorities. The president of Transparency International Croatia, Antun Zorislav Petrovic, university professor Miomir Matulovic, and a representative of the Croatian Unity Forum, Milan Ramljak, were nominated external members of the commission.
On Tuesday Parliament will hold a debate on whether the procedure of voting confidence in Minister Zuzul should be repeated.
Seks dismissed speculations that Parliament could end its session as early as Friday because of the presidential campaign.
Parliament will be in session on Mondays, Tuesdays, and possibly on Saturdays, Seks said and added that unlike now, sessions would last until after 19.00 hours.
