The two-day event was organised by the faculty and the Croatian Society of Politics. The introductory speech was delivered by European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, who spoke of how citizens of countries preparing to join or are members of the European Union perceive the issue of sovereignty and its preservation.
She announced that a National European Integration Forum would be launched in Rijeka on November 27 for the purpose of informing citizens about the positive changes EU entry brings.
