SKOPJE, Oct 18 (Hina) - The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) should reduce its missions in the Balkans because the region has been stabilised, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister and current OSCE chairman, Solomon Pasi, said in Skopje on Monday.

Pasi said the OSCE should be oriented to other crisis regions, and added that the Balkans needed support for the building of infrastructure and economic development.

The Bulgarian minister held talks with Macedonian President Boris Crvenkovski and Prime Minister Hari Kostov. Pasi and his Macedonian counterpart Ilinka Mitreva signed a plan on Macedonia-Bulgaria cooperation in European integration processes.

Pasi said Bulgaria would support Macedonia and all neighbouring countries on their path to the European Union.

During his tour of Balkan countries, Pasi will visit Belgrade, Podgorica, Pristina and Tirana.
