ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - A video conference on European Union
development projects and initiatives opened at the Zagreb School of Medicine on
Thursday as part of intensified efforts by the Ministry of Science, Education
and Sport to help the Croatian academic and scientific community join EU
research projects.Science, Education and Sport Minister Dragan Primorac said that his
ministry was directing its efforts at adjusting national scientific policy to
that of the EU and at strengthening the scientific research sector in Croatia
in order to ensure the active participation of Croatian scientists and
researchers in EU projects.
The conference was attended on-line by representatives of eight academic
and scientific centres in Croatia and a representative of the European
Commission Delegation to Zagreb, Enrique Aguado-Asenjo.
