An education system agreement with the World Bank is expected to be signed next year, Minister Dragan Primorac told a press conference on Friday, adding the agreement envisaged an US$85 million loan for the whole education system.
Also present at the press conference were members of the World Bank expert team. The bank's coordinator for Croatia, Philip Goldman, applauded the changes moved by the ministry, saying that in talks with pupils, teachers and state officials he saw there existed a real desire to change the education system.
