The International Committee for Regional Museums has 500 members. Otto Lohr of Germany and Jane Legget of New Zealand were appointed deputy chairs.
The general conference of the International Council of Museums ended in Seoul on October 8, at which Alissandra Cummings of Barbados was elected president. The conference, which brought together 1,200 participants from around the world, also appointed chairpersons of 30 committees.
