Araqi said he was very much satisfied with the the two countries' cultural exchange and cooperation and in particular praised the organisers of the exhibition in the Mimara museum.
Biskupic said the exhibition was a piece in the cultural mosaic and added that Croatia was also interested in the cultural exchange in the fields of film and music.
Given that Biskupic is the head of the Croatian government's commission for relations with religious communities, the Iranian guest informed him that during his visit to Zagreb he had held meetings with religious dignitaries, too.

One of the main duties of the ICRO whose head is Mr. Araqi is to promote dialogue with other religions.
The Iranian guest thanked Zagreb Archbishop Cardinal Josip Bozanic for all he had done to nourish good relations between the Catholic Church in Croatia and the local Islamic community, the Office of the Zagreb Archbishop said in a press release.
The two also considered the grave situation in the Near East and agreed that religious communities should join their efforts in promoting peace and understanding as well as mutual respect among people.
