BISKUPIC RECEIVES IRANIAN DELEGATION AHEAD OF EXHIBITION OF PERSIAN ART

ZAGREB, Sept 29 (Hina) - Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic on Wednesdayreceived an Iranian delegation headed by the Vice-President of theCultural Heritage and Tourism Organisation, Taha Hashemi, who hadarrived in Zagreb to attend this evening's opening of the exhibition"7,000 Years of Persian Art".
ZAGREB, Sept 29 (Hina) - Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic on Wednesday received an Iranian delegation headed by the Vice-President of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organisation, Taha Hashemi, who had arrived in Zagreb to attend this evening's opening of the exhibition "7,000 Years of Persian Art".

The talks focused on cultural cooperation between the two countries, and Biskupic thanked Iran for its assistance in staging such a valuable exhibition in Croatia.

The guests from Tehran showed their interest in Croatia's experience in connecting culture and tourism, and in preserving its cultural heritage, the Culture Ministry said in a statement.
