Sanader said in the letter that the coming elections in Bosnia were extremely important for the strengthening of political self-reliance and the activities of the Croat people in Bosnia.
Sanader said the elections were important also as an opportunity to receive the confirmation from the public and a recognition of the democratic and European orientation of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
This is the first time since the war that guests from Croatia's HDZ did not speak at election rallies in Bosnia. Representatives of Croatia's HDZ attended an HDZ BH election rally in Mostar on Wednesday evening, but did not hold speeches.
