The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Adnan Terzic, sent a letter to his Croatian counterpart, Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, on Monday saying that it was a very valuable piece of Bosnian property and that the Croatian judiciary had violated Annex G to the Agreement on Succession to the former Yugoslavia, which was ratified by Croatia, the newspaper said.
Terzic said that a decision by a Split court in 1993, which stripped Bosnia-Herzegovina of its ownership of the building, was illegal, arguing that ownership rights are held in abeyance in time of war.
Bosnia-Herzegovina was unable to protect its rights, because no one knew about the decision of the Split court, the letter said.
An official receiver appointed by the Dubrovnik Commercial Court sold about 2,000 square metres of land owned by the former hospital to the Konel company from Cavtat at an auction on Monday.
