Danish journalists, politicians, university teachers and students visited Croatia as part of their study tour of Southeast Europe, which included Serbia and Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Foreign Ministry Secretary of State for Political Issues, Hidajet Biscevic, informed the guests about Croatia's activities relating to membership talks with the European Union, the return of refugees to their pre-war homes, cooperation with the Hague war crimes tribunal and relations with neighbouring countries. He said that bilateral relations between Croatia and Denmark were very good.
In the Croatian Parliament, the 30-member Danish delegation met for talks with the Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee, Gordan Jandrokovic, the Chairman of the Interparliamentary Cooperation Committee, Milorad Pupovac, and the Chairwoman of the Croatian-Danish Parliamentary Friendship Group, Alenka Kosisa Cicin Sain.
The guests showed great interest in the current political and economic situation in Croatia, particularly in the country's attitude towards European integration processes and its foreign policy goals and priorities.
