The survey was carried out on the occasion of the European Day of Organ Donation and Transplantation.
A half of the respondents fully supported the idea of organ donation, 33 percent supported it, and only three percent did not support organ transplantation, with an additional two percent of respondents who were absolutely against organ donation.
Regarding this half of respondents who fully support organ donation, most of them are with college degrees and over a half of them come from northern Croatia.
Asked whether they would be willing to donate their own organs, 70 percent answered in the affirmative, 21 percent said they did not know, eight percent answered they would not donate their organs, and one percent declined to answer this question.
