The meetings of students started last year in Mainz and Dijon, where 25 students from the three cities dealt with the topic "The Face of the City". In March this year French and Croatian students travelled to Mainz, where they discussed democracy. The meetings ended in Zagreb with the topic "Tourism in Zagreb".
At this evening's event, French Ambassador to Croatia Francis Bellanger presented a high French decoration to Hrvoje Vidovic, former headmaster of Zagreb's 18th gymnasium for his contribution to the study of French and German languages, cultures and literatures at the school's bilingual departments, where classes are held in the Croatian and French or German languages.
