MOSTAR, Sept 11 (Hina) - The Office of the High Representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina has criticised the state parliament for refusing to consider a set of bills regulating the future of war crime trials in Bosnia, maintaining that this will delay the transfer of trials from the U.N. tribunal in The Hague and slow down Bosnia's European integration.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Paddy Ashdown's Office voiced concern about the refusal, saying it sent out a very negative signal about Bosnia's commitment to fully cooperate with the Hague tribunal.

Ashdown's Office urged both houses of the Bosnian parliament to adopt the laws in question by the end of the month so that the transfer of cases from the Hague tribunal to the Bosnian state court's department for war crimes could begin early next year.
