Bagic was appointed to his duty on January 15, 2001.
In late June, the Council of the European Union Council adopted a decision banning Bagic, as one of the alleged abettors in the escape of General Ante Gotovina, from entering EU countries.
Bagic then said the decision was unjust and disgraceful, stressing that his actions were in line with the law.
Before this decision, Bagic was in the process of being relieved of this duty as the secretary of the President's Office.
