The text on the posters signed by an association calling itself the youth association 'Freedom' reads, among other things, that the it thanks "Croatian sons Francetic and Budak for the honorable defence of the Croatian state for which they gave their lives".
The 'signatory' asks to be forgiven as "the Croatia, for which they fought, is now being sold to Antichrists and Freemasons".
The posters, which also called down a curse on 'Ivica and Stipan' alluding to Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and President Stjepan Mesic, were removed later in the day by the local 'Sanitat' company and police are collecting evidence which may help them to identify persons who put up the posters.
