Boskovski was arrested near the northern Adriatic town of Rovinj around 14.00
hours Tuesday, on suspicion of committing murder, Croatian Interior Ministry
deputy spokesman Igor Stefanec told reporters.Boskovski, who also has Croatian citizenship, was taken to the Pula
police station where he will be interrogated and then taken before an
investigating judge in the Pula County Court.
Boskovski is suspected of having ordered the murder of seven illegal
Pakistani and Indian immigrants in 2002 when he was Macedonia's interior
minister.
He was arrested based on a warrant issued by the Pula County Prosecutor
and in line with a treaty between Croatia and Macedonia.
