has expired.
PRISTINA, Aug 13 (Hina) - The new chief of the Office of the United
States Mission in Pristina, Philip Goldberg, arrived in Pristina on Friday
where he will replace former mission chief Marcie Ries whose one-year term in
office has expired.Goldber will perform this duty for the next two years.
The US Office in Pristina said in a statement that between 1994 and 1996
Goldberg was a special assistant to Ambassador Richard Holbrooke and a senior
officials of the US State Department's desk for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He was also a member of the US negotiating team that prepared the Dayton
peace conference.
