Three percent of the increase will be earmarked for the costs of
salaries of hospitals' employees while the funds increased by 8.4 will
be allocated for material expenditure.
The hospitals will get more funds in May after the Croatian Health
Insurance Agency (HZZO) management adopts their budgets, Minister
Hebrang told a news conference on Monday.
"We've managed to reorganise the financing of the public health for
three months and imposed stricter controls of spending in which it is
possible to save 1.4 billion kuna yearly," Hebrang said.
