During question time in the Croatian parliament on Tuesday, the deputy
of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) also asked PM Sanader how long he
would tolerate Hebrang's moves.
"I am not only going to tolerate (this), but I also encourage the
minister to work on the correction of irregularities made while you
(the SDP-led coalition government) were in power, and to abide by the
law and nothing more," Sanader replied to Opacic.
He added that he would ask Hebrang to make a precise review of
replacements of hospitals' directors in the first three months since
the incumbent government had been in power and of replacements made
during the first three months of the previous coalition government.
Sanader went on to say that according to available data, no director
of hospital had been replaced in the first three months of his
cabinet's rule but that about 40 heads had been relieved of duty in
the first three months of the rule of the previous (Ivica Racan)
cabinet.
