BELGRADE, April 1 (Hina) - The Council of Europe expects Serbia-Montenegro institutions to function in every respect so that a feasibility study for admission to the European Union could be positive, the council's secretary-general, Walter Schwimmer, said in his address to the Serbia-Montenegro parliament on Thursday.
BELGRADE, April 1 (Hina) - The Council of Europe expects Serbia-Montenegro institutions to function in every respect so that a feasibility study for admission to the European Union could be positive, the council's secretary-general, Walter Schwimmer, said in his address to the Serbia-Montenegro parliament on Thursday.#L# Schwimmer said violence could not be the way to solve the issue of Kosovo's status, adding that those who staged the recent riots in the province must be brought to justice. He called on Serbia-Montenegro political leaders to appeal for a broader cooperation with the Hague tribunal. During his address MPs of the Serbian Radical Party wore white T-shirts with a picture of party leader Vojislav Seselj, who has been indicted by the war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
