High school student from Subotica joined their fellow students from
other Serbian towns in protest against the attacks on Serbs in
Kosovo.
Over the past two days, north Vojvodina was spared of violent street
protests which resulted in the demolition of some state institutions,
churches and private property in Nis, Novi Sad and Belgrade. The only
incident happened when the windows of two bakeries owned by Albanians
were smashed In Subotica on Thursday.
