SKOPJE, March 4 (Hina) - The body of Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski, who died in last week's plane crash in southern Bosnia, is lying in state at the Macedonian parliament.

Thousands of citizens came to pay their respect to the late president
by lighting candles and laying wreaths outside the parliament
building. The remains of Trajkovski's six associates and two pilots
who were also killed in the crash were buried today.
Trajkovski's funeral will be held on Friday. The Macedonian Foreign
Ministry said in a statement that delegations from 47 countries and
international organisations would attend the funeral. Croatia's
delegation will be led by President Stjepan Mesic.
